Wollaston
Overview: New Build, M&E, Thermal Upgrades
Client: Wollaston School
Sector: Education
Zeno Construction was appointed as principal contractor for the design and build of a new sports pavilion at Wollaston School, part-funded by the Football Association. The project involved the delivery of a high-quality new build facility using a SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels) construction method, selected for its efficiency, durability, and thermal performance.

The new pavilion was designed to support both day-to-day school use and wider community sport, providing a practical and well-considered layout. Internally, the building includes four changing rooms, bathrooms, showers, a fully fitted kitchen, a central lobby, and a dedicated viewing area for spectators.

Throughout the project, careful attention was given to both functionality and finish, with the space fully fitted out using bespoke furnishings to create a robust yet welcoming environment for users. The completed facility delivers a modern, fit-for-purpose sports pavilion that enhances the school’s existing provision while supporting future use.
