John Colet School
Overview: Cladding / Facade Replacement
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Value: £230k
After securing CIF funding and winning the competitive tender, Zeno Construction began the complete removal of 400m2 aged and deteriorating timber cladding. Once removed, the cladding was replaced with a cutting-edge, non-combustible facade system.
The decision was made to replace the facade with Hardie Plank Cladding—an advanced, low-maintenance material known for its durability, fire resistance, and aesthetic appeal.
In addition to upgrading the cladding for the school, new insulation was installed to dramatically improve the U-Value performance of the buildings, enhance energy efficiency and reduce future heating costs.
To avoid any interruption to the school’s operations, all works were scheduled and completed over the summer holidays.
